Hexarelin

Hexarelin is a potent synthetic hexapeptide GHRP that produces the highest acute GH release of all GHRPs through ghrelin receptor agonism. Uniquely, hexarelin also binds CD36 scavenger receptor and demonstrates cardioprotective effects independent of GH secretion.

The cardioprotective properties are mediated through CD36 binding on cardiomyocytes, activating survival signaling that protects against ischemia-reperfusion injury. This mechanism operates independently of GH secretion and represents a distinct research application beyond the GH axis.

Studies consistently demonstrate hexarelin as the most potent GHRP for acute GH stimulation, though desensitization occurs more rapidly than with ipamorelin. Cardiac research shows significant reduction in infarct size in animal ischemia models, preserved ejection fraction, and cardioprotective gene expression changes.

Store lyophilized at -20°C. Reconstituted solution stable 21 days at 2–8°C. Hexarelin's potency requires careful dose preparation. Bacteriostatic water recommended.
